These terms describe the product rules for the CueTick apps and website, provided by QiTrail Technology Co., Ltd.. Contact [email protected] for support. The software licence for an App Store download is governed by Apple’s Standard End User Licence Agreement (EULA). This page adds product-use terms; it does not replace that licence or the applicable App Store terms. Statutory consumer rights are not limited by these terms.
02Devices and features
Apple Watch is required to record shots and keep score. iPhone provides setup, sync, scoreboard display, records and statistics; it does not offer independent phone scoring. Minimum systems are iOS 18 and watchOS 11. System double tap requires a supported Watch and the applicable foreground scoring screen. All scoring operations have touch controls. Siri colour selection requires configured shortcuts and depends on system settings, recognition and connectivity. Selecting a colour by voice does not confirm a pot or award points.
03Paid download and updates
When released, CueTick is a one-time paid App Store download including all features offered in the current version. There is no free trial, subscription or in-app purchase. Prices, taxes, purchase eligibility, redownloads and refunds follow your regional App Store terms and Apple’s processing. Redownloading the app does not restore match records.
Updates may fix issues or change features and supported systems. These terms do not promise unannounced future features or services, or indefinite support for every device. Statutory rights to refunds, remedies or other consumer protections remain unaffected.
04Recording and match decisions
CueTick is a recording and statistics aid. Select the correct ball and confirm pots, misses, fouls, turn changes and manual corrections carefully. The app handles normal sequences and scores; players or a referee must decide exceptional rulings. It does not automatically decide a miss, whether a snooker exists or disciplinary forfeits. It does not represent WPBSA, Apple or any competition organiser.
Shot times are estimates based on entry intervals, not physical ball speed or professional measurements. Phone, Lock Screen and large-screen scores may lag behind due to sync delays. During disconnection, use the Watch’s local record. Verify scores and follow competition rules in formal matches.
05Local records and privacy
You may use nicknames. Only enter other players’ information when you are entitled to do so, and obtain any necessary permission before displaying names or scores publicly. Records are stored on your devices and synced between your paired Watch and iPhone. Optional iCloud sync restores uploaded data on the same account across iPhone, iPad and a replacement Watch. You choose when to share achievement cards; recipients manage exported images. Check sync before uninstalling or replacing a device. There is no developer-hosted match backup, and recovery of deleted or unsynced records cannot be guaranteed.
See the Privacy Policy for data handling and deletion. Your game records remain yours; these terms grant us no right to sell them or use them for advertising.
06Responsible use and ownership
Follow applicable law and Apple’s licence rules. Do not damage the app or another person’s devices, infringe third-party rights or unlawfully copy or distribute the software. Rights in CueTick’s code, design, name and brand assets remain with their respective owners, subject to uses permitted by law and any applicable open-source licences. Apple’s rules govern features such as Family Sharing.
07Reliability and responsibility
We aim to maintain the product and address reported issues with reasonable care. Device faults, system restrictions, entry mistakes or connection interruptions can affect recording and display. Keep a suitable way to verify scores in important matches. These terms do not exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded or limit statutory consumer rights. Please first contact support about disputes; applicable law determines governing law and the competent courts.
08Changes and contact
When product rules change, we will update the date here and give appropriate notice of material changes. Any new licence or change requiring consent will be handled under applicable law and platform rules. The Chinese and English versions are intended to have the same meaning; contact [email protected] about ambiguity. Use Apple’s official support channels for App Store billing or refunds, and contact us for product or privacy questions.
