01Scope and developer
This policy covers the CueTick iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch apps and this website. CueTick is provided by QiTrail Technology Co., Ltd.. For privacy requests or product support, contact [email protected].
02Data on your devices
CueTick stores the player names you enter, your selected player identity, match and practice configuration, scores, shot events, timestamps, statistics, language and wearing-hand preferences, guide progress and shortcut import status locally. This supports scoring, display, review, session recovery and your preferences. Nicknames are welcome; real names are not required.
Apple Watch records the session. Records and necessary selection and sync messages are transferred between your paired devices using Apple’s paired-device connection. When you enable iCloud sync, Apple CloudKit stores your profile, manual personal-best baseline, shot events, session configuration and deletion markers in your current iCloud account’s private database, for iPhone, iPad and replacement-Watch recovery. Game records are not uploaded to developer servers. Cross-account backup is not provided. Sync state, pending queues and account partition identifiers are retained locally; account changes isolate records and queues. Whether device backups include local app data depends on your Apple settings.
03Siri, gestures and audio
Optional Siri and Shortcuts features use Apple’s systems to recognise your request and run the selected action. CueTick receives the requested ball colour; it does not record or store your voice. Apple’s policy and your Siri settings govern speech processing. Supported double tap gestures are recognised by watchOS.
Referee announcements and guide narration play on your device. They do not send your name, scores, match records or voice to external narration services. The app does not request access to your microphone, health data, location, contacts or photo library.
04Information you choose to show or send
When you share an achievement card, the system sends its image to the recipient or app you choose. You can hide your name; opponents, location and full shot records are excluded. Recipients control exported images; deleting the source does not remotely delete them.
When you enable Live Activities, player names and scores may appear on your Lock Screen, Dynamic Island or related Watch surfaces. Manage visibility through your device’s privacy settings. Screen mirroring makes match information visible to people watching the display. Support emails, logs or screenshots contain information you choose to send; we use it only to respond, investigate and meet necessary obligations. Please avoid sending unnecessary personal information.
05Purchases, diagnostics and third parties
CueTick is a paid App Store download with no subscription or in-app purchases. Apple handles payment, billing and downloads; the developer does not receive your payment card details. Apple may make aggregated sales information or crash reports available under its platform rules and your diagnostic-sharing settings. These are not collected by an in-app tracking SDK. See Apple’s Privacy Policy.
The app contains no advertising, advertising-identifier tracking or third-party behavioural analytics SDKs. We do not sell game records or other personal information or use it for targeted advertising.
06Website visits
When you open this website or its legal pages from the app, the website hosting service may process IP addresses, request times, page paths, browser type and referrers to deliver the pages and protect the site. Requests may be processed outside your country or region.
The site does not use advertising or visitor-behaviour analytics, or marketing-tracking cookies. It cannot read your local game records. If you follow an external link, that website’s privacy policy applies.
07Retention, deletion and your choices
Local records and settings remain on your devices until you delete them or remove app data. You can edit names and preferences in Settings and delete finished sessions from record details. Without cloud sync, Watch confirms iPhone deletion after a session ends. With cloud sync, ended or marked-interrupted records can be deleted across devices on the same account. Deletion markers prevent stale offline records from returning. Disconnected devices may need to reconnect. Turning iCloud sync off stops transfers and keeps local and existing cloud records.
To remove all local app data, delete the app from both iPhone and Apple Watch. Manage any system-backup copies using Apple’s backup controls. Uploaded iCloud records can be restored by enabling sync on the same account. Records still only on an old Watch, never sent to iPhone or uploaded, may be permanently lost when uninstalling or replacing a device. The developer has no copy of your games and cannot restore them from a server or remotely access or delete local records.
You can turn off announcements, Live Activities or system Siri permissions. Contact [email protected] about access, correction, deletion or other applicable privacy rights. We will verify and handle requests for information we actually control. Support correspondence is kept until the issue is resolved and necessary security or legal retention is complete; it is not used for marketing.
08Security and younger users
We use Apple’s local storage, paired-device communication and CloudKit private database mechanisms and minimise data processing. No storage or transmission is perfectly secure. Protect your device passcode and take care when displaying player names publicly. CueTick is not directed specifically at children and does not intentionally collect personal information from them. Younger users should purchase and use it with a parent or guardian. Contact us if support correspondence may contain a child’s information.
09Policy updates
If our practices change, we will update the date on this page and provide an appropriate in-app or other notice for material changes. Where separate consent is legally required, we will obtain it before processing. The Chinese and English versions are intended to have the same meaning; contact us about any ambiguity. Your rights under applicable law remain unaffected.
